This project involved transforming the old Arnotts Bakehouse factory at Homebush into the vibrant Bakehouse Quarter precinct that now exists. Haslin has worked closely with the developer to ensure the rich heritage of the site is retained.

Construction of the Griffith Plant upgrade is complete Saturday, 19 May 2012
This superbly constructed plant, the biggest infrastructure project in Griffith’s history, will be turning sewage into almost-drinkable water within three weeks, making it one of the most advanced sewage treatment plants in Australia and the largest of its type in NSW. Construction started on Beavers Creek Weir Upgrade Tuesday, 15 May 2012
The new weir will be constructed on a by-pass adjoining the existing Beavers Weir. It will be fitted with the largest tilting gates in Australia for better regulated water flow, as well as a fishway to help fish migration up the river. The infrastructure improvements will better control flows into Old Man Creek from the Murrumbidgee River. The upgrade is expected to divert up to 20,000 ML of water a day, reducing erosion and losses and ensuring water delivery continues to meet demand. The upgrade is an integral part of the NSW State Water Corporation’s water saving CARM Project. |

Construction commences on Huntingwood Zone Substation Wednesday, 4 April 2012
Haslin have been awarded and commenced construction of the new Huntingwood Zone Substation on behalf of Endeavour Energy. The new 2 x 132/45kV 45MVA Transformer Zone Substation is located at Brabham Drive Eastern Creek. We anticipate completion in June 2013. |
