Haslin Constructions is a highly respected contractor in the civil engineering and construction industry. Since its inception in March 1991 the company has been carefully constructed to be as financially strong and solid as the structures it builds. The company is owned and run by its Directors John Hastings and Colin Woods, both qualified civil engineers. They have brought to their company over 60 years of combined experience gained from working in senior positions with national and international companies. This experience encompasses civil, building and multi disciplined projects. Projects are completed by Haslin's experienced on site management team. The Directors spend a large portion of each day on site, thus ensuring the highest standards of quality are achieved within the time constraints. Proof of Haslin Constructions' quality of work is not hard to find in the past 15 years they have completed well in excess of one hundred projects. Examples of which can be found in the environmentally sensitive sea wall restoration at Farm Cove in Sydney's Botanical Gardens and the commuter tunnel at Sydney's Central Station. The Mount Penang Recreational Parklands; Sydney Park Wetlands and the refurbishment of the iconic Arnott's Biscuit Factory at Homebush into premium office space whilst maintaining its historical character. The Company's innovative approach to design and construction has resulted in it being awarded some challenging projects. For example, the sewer siphon at The Spit in Sydney was rebuilt while it was still in service, new technology lightweight concrete was used in the restoration of Sydney's Central Station concourse and special jacking techniques encasing existing services enabled construction of a suspended deck truck park for South Sydney Council. Add to these the Menai Basketball Stadium for which Haslin Construction Pty Ltd were awarded an Excellence in Building Award by the Master Builders Association in 2004 and Wheel Profiling Facilities for Railcorp. These projects are but a few of the many completed, numbering in the hundreds and ranging in value from $100,000 to $25,000,000.
